Fast Charging and Multiple Variants: Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra Unveiled

Samsung is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated tablet family at the upcoming Unpacked event, which is expected to take place in late July. Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold5, Flip5, and the Galaxy Watch6 lineup, the tech giant is set to introduce the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, two out of the three tablets that will make up the S9 series. As we draw closer to the event, more details about these devices are gradually coming to light.

The latest information comes from a TUV certification, which confirms that there will be multiple variants of each tablet. The Galaxy Tab S9+ will be available in three models: SM-X816B, SM-X810, and SM-X816N. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will come in SM-X916B, SM-X910, and SM-X916N variants. In each case, the first model represents the 5G-capable version, the middle one is the global Wi-Fi-only model, and the final model is specifically intended for the South Korean market.

Additionally, the TUV certification has shed light on the charging capabilities of these tablets. Both the S9+ and S9 Ultra are expected to support 45W fast charging, indicated by the charger’s compatibility with 10V/4.5A. However, considering Samsung’s recent trend, it is likely that the tablets will not include a charging brick in the box, despite their ability to handle 45W charging. This aligns with the previous Galaxy Tab models, as the Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra also boasted support for 45W charging.

Samsung enthusiasts and tech enthusiasts, in general, are eagerly awaiting the Unpacked event in July, where they anticipate a slew of exciting announcements. The Galaxy Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra, alongside the other anticipated devices, are expected to bring significant advancements and enhancements to Samsung’s tablet lineup. With the official unveiling just around the corner, fans can expect more leaks and details to emerge, further building anticipation for the event.
